Jason Duval grew up surrounded by crime and, in search of structure and a way out, enlisted in the U.S. Army. Service didn't curb his criminal instincts — it sharpened them, leaving him with advanced combat skills, survival instincts, and weapons knowledge.
After his service, he moved to Leonida Keys and became a smuggler and enforcer for the local drug veteran Brian Heder, living rent-free in one of Heder's properties in exchange for his work. He keeps a pet iguana he can feed and interact with.
In gameplay, Jason has an advanced slow-motion ability: activating it highlights hidden weak points on enemies, vehicles, and structures in real time, making him the group's primary heavy-combat shooter.
